October 2010 is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Please Join us on October 9, 2010 at Wal-Mart Stores on East Race Avenue, in Searcy, Arkansas as we recognized the victims of Domestic Violence from the year 2009.  In 2009, there were 18 victims that died ranging from the age of 18 to 77, some of these victims were from White County.

At this event we will be collecting used cell phones.  Please consider donating any old used phone that you no longer use.  We use these for victims to use to call 911 or to turn in for cash.  If you decide to donate yours, please make sure that you remove all personal numbers and sim cards from them.



On Tuesday, October 26, 2010 on the Court Square, downtown Searcy, we will be holding our annual candlelight vigil with the Silent Witness Display.  Please join us for this.  It starts at 6 pm
